- Serve as a one-stop channel for finding, planning and supporting international joint development projects
- Finding international technology cooperation subjects for Industrial Technology R&D
- Matching and Supporting international technology cooperation for Industrial Technology R&D
- Working to reduce regulatory barriers to global R&D
Key Functions
- Provide efficient R&D management tailored to the needs of international cooperation and industrial technology R&D policies
- Receiving applications for local/overseas technology cooperation, Finding outstanding overseas technologies, working to transfer overseas technologies to domestic companies
- Domestic introduction of outstanding overseas technologies and R&D support for internalization of introduction techniques
- Promoting international cooperation R&D through incentives, refurbishing regulatory system, security procedures and etc

· Identifying outstanding overseas technologies, match them with institutes, bring them in domestic market and supporting R&D for internalization of introduction techniques

R&D Planning & enhancing regulatory system
· Preparing regulations customized to international technology cooperation
- Expand the scope of outsourcing contracts with overseas institutes(ex. Simple assembly, fabrication, test analysis, etc) into R&D
- Grant autonomy such as easing regulations on the use of research funds and extending the agreement period, and easing the ratio of matching charges and cash burdens for R&D participating in overseas institutions
